This bracelet is called the Honeycomb Bangle and directions were published in BeadWork magazine. I just happened to have all the materials in my stash so was able to complete it right after the magazine came out. Not usually the case. I think it is very elegant.
This was a kit I won at the ABC in Horseshoe Bend AR in 2008. It is Marsha by Ann Benson. I was a very good kit to work with. Her directions were very clear and easy to follow. I don't usually like kits but this one was great.
This is a kumihimo chain with a amazonite and sterling silver focal bead. This is my pattern from start to finish.

Netted stone

STONE BANGLE

Here is another example of what can be done with the 4mm stone beads.
The pattern by Fisher and Turnour at

The Bangle called for crystals but it is very effective with the stone beads also. I do not do "dressy" so the stones are more in context with my wardrobe.
This was a very fun pattern and it works up quickly.

This is the only quilt I have ever made. I did it while I worked in Connie Ewbank's quilt store in St Louis in 1995....or there abouts. I just bartered to have it quilted last fall (2011). I just love it. The pattern came from a book I got from the library and I have never been able to find the book again. It was a book on Australian baby quilts, as I recall.
